Did you change your domain or did my WordPress ‘follow’ just lose you? I just found you again – I thought you’d been quiet!

I was quiet for most of 3 years, we moved into an old rundown condo that took a lot of our time to refresh. Then, my family was visited by tragedy with the death of my daughter just this last November. Pneumonia, is what took her – we figure that she didn’t realize that she was a sick as she was, went to sleep…
So, some of my days are still filled with tears and I am slower than I was before. Most days are better and the beach helps – a lot! So, when Covid – 19 closed down British Columbia, I looked to the beach at the end of the property and thought that i could share the wondrous beauty of an ever changing pallet as part of my contribution to my own mental health well being and hopefully others as well.
WordPress probably dropped me after some set time of inactivity. I am glad that you found me again. I hope all is well in your world!!

My daughter died many years ago. It still hurts (badly) some days but I can now look back and smile at memories. It gets easier to carry the load.
Take time to enjoy your beautiful views. K x

thank you Kim for being so open on the loss of your daughter – yes, it can still hurt very badly yet there are the memories – I am hoping the my opening up wasn’t too hurtful for you. I am finding the hardest parts seem to begin with “how are you feeling…” or similar sentiment around this loss that appears to reach inside and pull those heart strings. Thank you for your incites, I am finding it comforting that the good memories will find a way back and accepting that there will be days of sorrow. I miss her so, as I am sure that you also miss your lovely daughter too. Stay well and safe in these unprecedented times .
