Ah the ignoble slug undulating in an attempt to reach the ground safely. This critter and a few others of his kind ended up on the Top of the gazebo cover in the storm of the night before.
Having never seen a slug in such an attempt of a slime rope descent I had to capture this moment with the lens.
His downward undulation destination was never determined and it it is equally probable that it ended in the belly of a bird.
