Weekly Photo Challege: Numbers

As always I went looking for a photo specific to numbers – as I was scrolling though the massive amount that i have on my computer I decided to take a screen shot of the lot. Numbers – here there are lots. The blue icons are raw images of the JPEG – I have the Sony take both – just in case i want to do some fine editing.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Half Light

My partner needed a weight for the bridge on the guitar. the original owner of the guitar had used contact cement to adhere the bridge – so my partner being a guitar guy had to fix it to make it right. When he applied the glue he needed a weight so he chose the glass. Made for an interesting shot.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Dancing with creativity

Do you enjoy your creativity? I do, I often dance between projects and work. The grey is for the Grace sweater by Jane Richmond. So far so good.

The yarn is Sweet Fiber DK in smoke. It is wonderful to work with. Still on the first sleeve so it is will be a bit.

I found that butting a chair up to my desk was a good holder for the skein to wrap it up into a usable ball.

My other project is mine by design. I was never one for the points in hoods so I stay away from them until I had an idea. The first run looks good. Now to draft the pattern.

These have sprouted up though the grass from some long hidden garden waiting for the right moment to spring forth.

I have been knitting with an passion. So – it is truly my frame of mind. Loki’s frame of mind is in her stomach – truly she is not impressed with knitting.

Weekly Photo Challenge; Seasons

Laying in the sun – a treat for old dogs. She is happy that the season is changing and getting warmer.

The changing of the season means I will have to wait to wear the grey sweater. The kitting on the white ball is my attempt at a hood with no point. When I succeed I will share it here.

My partner was throwing rocks in the swimming hole to make some ripples – Loki thought that they were for her so she jumped into the water and not finding the rock that was thrown for retrieval she happened upon a leaf floating on the water and brought that back to us like a good dog.
