Sunlight was streaming though the window for a very, very short bit on Dec 20, 2013. Then it was gone for the day hidden behind tall spruce, cedars and arbutus trees.  

This shot is outside a month earlier and the reflection of the rising sun catches the silhouette of the trees surrounding the yard.
