the basin – day 175

first the right foot forward… be kind, stay safe, be well.

The heron on the post. Easy to tell from a distance as they are very large birds. The smoke is mixed with lots of fog this morning – so much so the sun wasn’t able to break through. Fog looks the same but it carries sound so much better than smoke so you know it is the fog. Oh, the sea lions have made it into the basin, they bark just so and loudly to boot. a typical sight each morning, the boats rushing off to fish for salmon – with the smoke and fog it looks like he has just crossed over a magical threshold
