the basin – day 196

the sun rising through the smoke of the burning California fires – be kind, stay safe, be well

California seems so far away and yet here is the smoke from their burning forests. one world, everyone’s problem. most of the day it just hangs about, you can’t really see it when the sun is high, yet it is very acidic on your tongue.

Yet, don’t panic. this amazing planet usually has a way to clean up after our messes. sometimes it takes thousands of years, yet our planet will find a way. and our wild life, they just keep on trucking – don’t blame them, it is rather useless to wallow in any thing but mud, mud can be good for your skin and is sometimes fun.

smile, when all else is done, the smile will bring them back. be safe, be kind and stay well. masks and social distancing really do help.

  1. “One world, everyone’s problem.” That sums it up so well, whether it’s COVID, racism, injustice or climate change. We are all in this together! Thanks for the beautiful images as well as the points to ponder. 🙂
