I’m so pleased the sun rose shortly after taking this photo, Cathy. Also, that it looked like a wonderful spring day. Here, in the UK, we’ve had three days of warm, brilliant sunshine after all the rain and floods we’ve had. Tomorrow should be the same, although quite a lot colder. I don’t mind the cold, but seeing the sunshine lifts my spirits. Xx

It was a local fog so no fog horns – the horns are only on the open straights surrounding the island. On truly foggy days, the sound of the fog horns carry!
