heading for the apple buffet down the beach

20 years on – days of terror still fill our air waves. from the loners to unfettered anger spreading in misinformation. minions of peace are just little pockets stifling amongst mistrust and misdeeds. look for them, they are the quiet ones. like a starry night deep amongst the vastness of dark, lights make their way forward, to our eyes and hearts one flicker at a time. days of sorrow, still, looking out and beyond, putting behind our “I’s” of loneliness and self in time to say hello, smile and work together past our prejudices and fear. each journey begins with a single step, breathe and that which is fear, sorrow and mistrust can be fettered against the joys in light of our differences, embrace these differences and sameness will no longer rule as fear is the instinct to keep all the same.

may you, my readers, find peace for it is first found in the heart, then it moves outward. be kind, stay safe, be well
