Welcome to spring – so far a wet one 🙂

So, to feel better in my world, I take photos. Most folks I know are no longer interested in having their photo taken unless it is a selfie. So, my photos are of the nature and our world around me. This earth has taught me truth, has taught me peace and put aside my anger as I have come to understand that this earth will continue with or without humanity. It will reconfigure after we have gone and once again the seas will be filled with fish, the sky with birds and the lands with animals, insects and fauna. Personally, I would love to continue to see our would as bountiful, peaceful and beautiful as it was at the beginning of our humanity on this earth. We need to work together for this last bit to happen, if we don’t, our earth will carry on without us and create a whole lot of new but no or few humans to enjoy it.
These last two years have seen a lot of sorrow and uncertainty. Everywhere. And of course we now have the “special” war being waged against the Ukraine. There is nothing special about war and aggression. To say aggression is special is warped and against all that humanity can be. All of us have a part to play in our one world. And it is only one world.
And the beauty of our world is ours to behold. We need to only stop, take a deep breath and exhale slowly while looking up. Is what you see something man made? Take a deeper look and you will see that all around you is the earth. The earth makes up the concreate with stone, sand and a few other bits the modern engineers bring from the earth. The glass that you look though is from the sand that populates many a beach and desert. The walls are hewn from trees and covered in compressed chalks and minerals. Regardless if made or grown, this is from our earth. Our one home and we all live upon it.
These last years of internet, social media and a constant bombardment of things have brought our civilisations closer together then we ever have been before. Those who are uncertain, afraid and wanting it to be like it was before these changes are trying to take us away from our new found openness and togetherness. The frailty of a moving truth is hard for many to comprehend and bare. So, they react with anger, aggression and a conglomeration of mistruths to out right lies. They want for us to be apart, alone and hurt – to feel little and alone. Collectively, we can give in and endure misery, mistrust and oppression.
Lets not give in, or give ways for a further festering. I know of many good souls, each a light upon our earth living in kindness, knowledge and trust. I also know of those souls who relish in lies and mistrust, wanting for us to know only what it is they say is truth and that in each moment their truth changes to what they desire. Desire in these souls is not a truth, no matter how hard any one tries, it never feels right. Let your own heart say with clarity what is your own truth. In our truths, our trust, we can create peace. Together we can do this as real truth leads to a real peace. We all own it; truth and peace and even though some truths are very hard, they do bring peace.
I have found over the years that truth always resonates like a large bell. Mistruths never feel clear and usually they are peppered with anger, violence, and with each change, they become more harsh. As we learn and understand that truth resonates and mistruths are muddy – even at the onset, we grow stronger. And when we do this together we grow stronger. One voice, one song, one truth, one heartbeat, one world, all humanity.
Peace is a gift that we give ourselves. Let us be kind with this gift. For that is where it starts, with kindness. Be well as wellness too can be a state of mind, be safe as one can be in these troubled times and most of all be kind as kindness resonates with all of humanity.
