we remain unscathed after the torrents of rain and big winds

Granted, the power was out till the wee hours of the morning. my partner and I were prepared though with the wood stove blazing, candles and fairy lights aglow, we were able to bake frozen chicken pot pies on the top of the stove in a cast iron Stabb brazier

Remembrance day in Canada is the day to honor those who fought and died for our freedom – our debt to these brave souls can only be repaid through our vigilance in maintaining these hard won freedom’s and to not let these freedoms slip away.
