Your photographs, your almost exclusive dedication to this landscape, reminds me of that of the great master Paul Cezanne in front of the mountain of Sainte Victoire, who painted nearly a hundred times between oils and watercolors. I am moved by your stubbornness and exquisite sensitivity to the subtle changes in light and colour of the same landscape. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Thank you, you have made my day. The exclusivity of this landscape is wholly dictated by the fact that this is where i live and it takes me only a moment to wander down first thing each day and take the photograph. I began this project at the beginning of the pandemic. I was deep in grieving the unexpected death of my loving daughter to pneumonia just before the pandemic hit. It was and still is, a project to boost my mental health and I need to say that it has been successful in helping both healing and stability. I noticed many years ago that the process of capturing a moment in time in a photograph would take me away from the negative remunerations that populate poor mental health. thank your for your kind words and your dedication in returning each day. The day count is how many days plus 2 since Canada’s pandemic lockdown took place.

Thank you for your comment. From today I will look with new eyes his delicate images. How fantastic and what interesting the relationship between photography and mental health! I’m so sorry about the loss of your daughter. His images now have for me a whole other depth and much more sense. Be in the mood, don’t stop giving us this magnificent daily gift. It is also therapeutic to contemplate it. Thank you!
