  1. I’ve been thinking a bit about your work and will soon be writing a post on the books of Vincent Scully, one on the Minoan Culture, the other on the Pueblo. His thesis in both books is that the landscape played a huge role. Your work and relationship to the basin is something Scully (and I 😉) would appreciate.

    • Thank you for this. I started this as a way to balance life in bereavement at the beginning of the pandemic for my own mental health. For my daughter passed away a few months prior from pneumonia. It was a very hard time. This simple act of taking and sharing a photo was very therapeutic in so many ways. It brought me balance. I am happy to continue this journey 💛 with the basin as each day is new, it is also familiar and calming. Food for thought in any case. 🙏
