I thought I heard a loon this morning! Nice splash-catch. 🙂

That you did, they are magical and the splash is a good start to a bountiful summer! It was just luck to catch it at all, 😊🙏

Um, no, the splash of the seal hunting breakfast overtook the cry of the loon. Make sense?

Yes, that makes total sense.

I have lived here for so long, I have forgotten that many have never seen the ocean nor have experienced the sudden explosions of the circle of life that pepper the existence of life on the basin. 😊🙏

My initial guess was whale, but it did not seem a big enough splash. Seal makes total sense.

The Killer Wales come with the salmon runs and then, they are fleeting as the basin is brackish water with a mix of fresh and salt. When they come, it is magical where a single blow from one will silence all else in the basin. So, yes, a from a killer whale is so much more that what i captured today.
