the basin – a brilliant start at low tide

This transient wale came for a bite to eat at high tide yesterday and I was lucky enough to get a shot of the majestic creature.

What a lovely bright day there. It is here, too – sunny and unusually warm. You captured the whale at just the right moment. It’s a great shot. Well done. Xx 🐳💕

    • Thanks Ellie, The wales only come at high tide when there are fish to be had. The basin is brackish and hard for the wales to swim in once the tide lowers so they are a rare treat for us here on the basin. Only 76 resident killer wales left on the planet. It was a lucky capture. Thanks for dropping by! 😊🙏
