The smoke from Canadian wildfires is making the headline news around the globe. Canada is a big country just over 6100 km from where i live on the west coast to the east coast city of Halifax NS. The basin has a thin haze of smoke, not a lot … yet.
Our wildfire season usually kicks off after the beginning of summer, so the start of the wild fire season is early this year. And we will be ok, we will manage to knock each fire down, in time and with the help of the international fire fighters community when it happens to be a big one. A really big Thank You to all of those firefighters who risk all to keep so many safe.

My apologies, Cathy; I didn’t see the writing underneath the photo. How scary to have wildfires so close to you. I’m so glad that you will be okay with the help of, as you say, the brave firefighters looking after you all. I like your positive attitude towards it all. More than that, I love your gratitude. Gratitude is one of the most important elements in life. It’s something I pay a great deal of attention to.
Yes, our world is changing in huge ways. It can be quite overwhelming at times. Being someone who is involved in climate change actiivism, it is a subject so true to my heart. We all need to take it seriously. I hope you, too, stay safe in this somewhat insecure world. Xx 🌍💕

No worries Ellie, I added the note after seeing the BBC news. The fires are hundreds of kilometers from me and it is only the smoke that is wondering the planet.
I too have been aware of our changing world since my youth. Our best Activision is by example now. So many folks are not yet prepared to what must be done. Stay safe 🙏 ❤

Hundreds of wildfires across Canada and people are still denying that we’re in a crisis. I think of all the animals in the path of these fires; it breaks my heart.
