The birds are Canada geese. There is a sour apple tree at the shoreline, and these geese arrive early each morning to feast on the fallen apples. The apples are bitter and riddled with wasps, and still the geese love them. Glad to see that you are doing better 😊🙏

Thanks, Cathy. From a distance (as in the photo), I would never have guessed that these birds were as large as Canada Geese. I love the orange sun in the sky reflecting on the water. Xx 🌞💟

They are large birds and are easy to photograph. The sun in the morning is always amazing on the water. 😊🙏

So we just missed you! Rosie and I were at Billings spit when the geese headed for their morning apple juice. 🙂
